The words from the book of Matthew help frame a lot of what we do at MCCR.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
Each month, we receive emails and letters from people incarcerated. Getting a letter back, having someone to correspond with, is a form of communication many take for granted.
If you would like to help with this ministry or make a donation to help us continue this important work, please visit our Sunday Worship Hub Page to do so.

MCCR created “Together We Rise” out of a deep commitment to social justice and a calling to be the face for those who cannot step forward themselves, those whose voices are often unheard, and whose stories are too easily overlooked.
We believe that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and safe, regardless of their circumstances. By actively engaging in community issues and standing up for the marginalized, we strive to create a space where dignity and compassion flourish, advocating for justice and inclusion so that every individual knows they matter and belong.
